Camping with Friends

Hazel,

This weekend we went camping again. This time we went with our friends Mike and Jeannie, and our new friends Kevin and Rachelle at Indian Henry Campground. We had such a great time sitting by the fire, eating lots of yummy food, playing by the river, and going for a hike!

Four Months

Hazel,
You are four months old already! We can't believe how fast the time has gone. You are such a big girl. You are doing all sorts of great new things like rolling over, talking (and talking, and talking), scooting, holding your toys, putting everything in your mouth, grabbing at everything (including mommy's hair and necklaces), and smiling all the time! You have started to notice Junie B. (our cat) and Henry (our dog) more and more. Sometimes I think you expect them to sit down and play with you. You are ticklish, which means you are laughing! It is such a cute belly laugh that makes us laugh too. Although a lot has changed, a lot is the same too. You still love to be around people! You smile at everyone, and you make us so happy! Here are some pictures of you on your four month birthday (which was mommy's birthday too). You are such a beautiful and happy girl!

Hazel,
Mommy turned 30 this weekend and we had a great time with some good friends! Mommy, Daddy, Nana, Grandpa, Aunt Alison, and a bunch of really great friends went wine tasting at some beautiful wineries! We had such fun spending time with family and friends. You, like always, were such a good girl!

I know I just made a post with this same title, but you have lots of friends! Ella is another BFF! Her mommy and your mommy went to college together and have been great friends ever since. We are so excited to have you girls and pray you have a fun life-long friendship!

Bath Time

Hazel,

We painted the upstairs bathroom and needed some good bath pictures of you. Daddy had the great idea of taking them outside so there was better lighting! Although you were a little chilly you seemed to like it!

We spent this weekend camping at Beverly Beach with Nana, Grandpa, and Aunt Alison! You had so much fun. It was pretty chilly, so we spent a lot of time around the campfire.

We also went to the tide pools by the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. We saw so many cool things!

Hazel,

We are so blessed to live so close to our good friends the Emmerts. You and Caden are already great friends. When mommy was first pregnant Caden called you "Baby Ah Ah" translation "Baby Monkey!" Well, we have been waiting for Baby Jorie Evelyn to arrive, and she is here! We got to meet her today, and she is just perfect!

Kim and I have been so excited for you two girls. We think it is so special that you will get to grow up together, and that you won't remember a time without Jorie in your life! Look, you are already holding hands!!

I have been so lucky to have a life long friend and know you will love it too! I have a feeling you two will have a lot of fun and get into some trouble too!
