Monday Fun-day

Hazel,
We got to spend all day on President's Day with our good friends Amy and Ella! We started off with some solid baby naps, followed by some awesome stair play time, what else?! Despite Ella's serious faces, you little ladies had quite a blast crawling all over the stairs!

After some lunch, we headed out to the park. Such a pretty (cold, but sunshiney) day, so we had to go enjoy it. There was only one baby swing, so we took turns. Ella liked watching you swing.

What a fun little baby bench to take some fun friend pictures.

Happy friends!

Baby kisses

Okay, when are we done with just sitting here?!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends to spend time with! Thanks Ella and Amy for hanging out with us!

We love you Hazel,

The Chase

Hazel,
Oh the stairs, they are a new fascination of yours. You just cruise right up like you've been doing it for years. Going down...now that's a different story, but you will learn, and I'm sure will go fast however you do it! Anyway, on this particular day Henry and Junie B. decided to stay close while you climbed. I love this series. It depicts well what it's like supervising the three of you!

Hi Mom! What, Henry's attacking Junie B? Nothing new.

Junie B, I'll protect you by giving you some nice pets.

Oh, I forgot, I was climbing the stairs. Here I go again! Henry, you can play with Junie B.

Ooh, I see something fun back there, forget you guys!

Mama, you still there?

Hooray, there you are!

We love a good play date on the stairs!
Love you,
Mommy and Daddy

Bath Kisses and Other Cute Moments

 Hazel,
You have really been enjoying big girl baths lately. You love your tea set, and try so hard to drink out of the cups. It's just too bad that you always have six other toys in your hands so all the water in the cup pours out! You love the bath letters and numbers, and especially like to chomp on the "I."Just look at that happy face!

You also discovered the baby in the bath! You saw your reflection and immediately gave the baby kisses. So sweet of you!

I came to get you up from a nap, and found you standing up, smiling and waiting for me. I couldn't resist just a few pictures.

Two more from Mommy-Hazel play time while Daddy is busy working! You are so much fun sweet girl.

We love you!

10 Months

Hazel,
Oh goodness you are so big. You are ten months old today! We celebrated by going out to Mexican for dinner. Okay, really Mommy and Daddy just wanted yummy Mexican food, but we still celebrated! This month has flown by. Daddy and I were talking about it, and decided that this month was full of you getting at better at everything you already knew how to do.

You are eating finger foods like a pro, which makes it easier for us to all eat dinner together. You love cheese, just like Nana and all of Mama's family! Cheerios are a big hit too. Really, you are a great eater, and try pretty much anything. If you don't like it you just feed it to Henry!!

You crawl like you are in a race. We aren't sure who you are racing, but you love it! One of your favorite games is for daddy to chase you around the family room, and you laugh and laugh while bobbing your head up and down or shaking it side to side...all while still trying to crawl!

You also like walking around. Although you aren't walking on your own, you love holding mommy or daddy's fingers and step away!

You still love books, and are learning to turn the pages so well, and you look at each picture, pointing to some.

You are talking more and more. Mama and Dada are still your words of choice, but Papa and Uh - your version of uh oh - are close runners up.

Bathtime is one of your favorite times of the day. You splish and splash and play with your tea party toys. Mostly you try to drink bath water!

Hazel, it's so hard to believe you are already 10 months. You are so big, learning new things every day. We hope and pray that you will continue to grow, learn, smile, and love!

We love you big girl,
Mommy and Daddy
