Sunday at the Vineyard

Hazel,
You spent the night with Nana and Papa last night! Nana said you had a ton of fun. We met up at The Four Graces for some wine tasting and to get you back. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful Nana and Papa who love you and playing with you so much! You love them a ton too. The Four Graces was so beautiful we got to take some fun pictures.

 You found some puppies. You sat right down and pet them. Good thing other people think you're cute too!

Oregon State Fair

Hazel,
Yesterday we went to the fair! Daddy's work had a picnic, so we ate some yummy food, and then wandered around the fair. We checked out the animals. You were a little afraid of the cows, but Moo-ed for the rest of the day! You loved the baby pigs and the sheep! You were too small to ride any rides, so we mostly walked around and Daddy played some silly games!

Big Lake 2011

Hazel,
A couple weeks ago we went camping with Jeannie and Mike and Kevin and Rachelle at Big Lake! We had so much fun playing in the sun, going for walks, and swimming in the lake. I didn't take many pictures at all, but here are a few!

Beverly Beach

Hazel,
We spent last weekend camping at Beverly Beach with Nana and Papa! You had a great time! You loved exploring the camp site, sitting in your bear chair and the yellow chair Nana and Papa brought you, eating big girl food, and mostly playing in the ocean! Oh wow, did you like playing in the ocean. We went for a walk on the beach Saturday morning and you instantly ran for the water! No fear, child. You have no fear. You just ran and ran and ran, into the ocean, away from the ocean, anywhere you could! The beach was gorgeous on Saturday, so sunny and warm. We got to play on the beach all day long!

I forgot my camera, so these were all taken with my phone. Not quite as nice, but they will work.

We love you and are so proud of what a great camper you are!

Chicago - Part Two

Hazel,
Here are the rest of the pictures from our Chicago trip! More pictures of the bean!

Another fun thing we did was rent bikes and ride all over the park and waterfront. We got to see this great fountain!

We also went on an Architecture Tour on the river. It rained-poured- for the first 75 of the 90 minute tour. But the last 15 minutes were beautiful! And it was a fun story that we sat on the deck of the boat with ponchos and umbrellas for so long! Despite the crazy weather, we had a great time!

One of the last things we did is meet up with Isaiah and go to the Art Institute of Chicago. We got to see tons of great art!

Hazel, we were so lucky to go on such a fun trip. When you are bigger, we will have to take you! Thank you to Nana and Papa for taking such great care of you!
