Lazy Saturday

It wasn't really a lazy Saturday, we actually did quite a bit...trip to the dog park, Erik fixed our fence, I caught up on laundry (I know, super exciting), my dad and sister came down to watch the OSU game (Go Beavs), Erik made some pumpkin pies, and we ended up getting to hang out with Parker tonight! Phew, not a lazy day at all.

It was so fun to have Parker hang out. We were apprehensive about letting Henry inside with Parker, but as you can tell from the following pictures, Parker could not stop laughing when Henry was near! Parker would crawl as fast as he could after Henry, and then try to pet him when Henry finally stopped moving, all the while laughing hysterically! Erik and I laughed quite a bit too. It actually made me feel a lot better about having a baby around with Henry, he was so gentle with Parker and let him pet him more than I expected.

Parker doesn't joke about dinner time! Look at those eyes...love them!

My little baker. Isn't the mini pie the cutest? We have a new neighbor and thought it would be a fun "welcome to the neighborhood" treat! Erik made a great pumpkin pie, such a fun fall dessert.

Game Day

Way back on Halloween Erik and I spent the day in Eugene. We started bright and early watching ESPN College Gameday. Tons of fun, some crazy people, and funny signs!

Oh yeah, and a duck!

We spent the afternoon with some family, and then headed back to the stadium for the game. It was a beautiful night, but more importantly, it was a great game!

p.s. Does anyone know why I can't get the captions above my photos to type without an underline?

Three little pumpkins

Alison, Erik, and I had our annual Halloween celebration night. For the past four years we have either gone to the haunted corn maze or carved pumpkins. This year we stuck with some yummy fondue and pumpkin carving.

Alison focused on her carving!

Erik focused on his carving!

Our baby even made an appearance!

A baby in a tummy, a jack-o-lantern, and a scary ghost! A successful night.

14 1/2 weeks

I've heard everything from "you are hardly showing" to "are you like 5 or 6 months along" So, you decide!

We are all well. I am officially in my second trimester and after a brief encounter with morning sickness, am now feeling great. Erik has tolerated (and in fact been very kind about) my random food desires and aversions, and has been all around wonderfully supportive!

We are getting more and more excited to meet this little one.

It Fits!

So I have this friend who is super creative and wonderful! We received this in the mail, all the way from Atlanta, a few days ago and I can't get enough of it. I think it might be the most adorable thing I've ever seen! I can't decide if the ear flaps or the fluffs at the top are my favorite part.

Gail, thank you! We love it and can't wait to send you a picture of baby wearing the "Oregon hat" Auntie GG made :)

Camera 101

About a week ago Erik and I got to go to a photo class/wine tasting event! We learned so much and had a fabulous time! Laurel was a great teacher, and even better, such a fun new friend. We visited two beautiful wineries close by. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world.

Here are some of the shots I got. Erik was mostly along for the tasting and modeling part of the class, I think he did great! I'm getting more and more comfortable using my camera, and a little better at editing.

Laurel was nice enough to take a picture of Erik and I at the end!
